Our Week in the Forest
We have been busy, busy, busy at Little Forest Folk Winkworth, yes we have as we have explored all the people that help us in different ways this week. On a wild and windy Monday we opened the Little Forest Folk hospital where our busy doctors rushed around A&E, unloading the ambulance and attending patients. There was a particularly serious case where our playdough person was immediately rushed to surgery where precise hands could carefully tweezer out all their splinters. Just another day of saving lives for our little adventurers!
On Tuesday we took to the skies on our pallet aeroplane and the pilot and copilot in the cabin even gave some VIP tours. It was a very magical experience and we were so inspired that in the afternoon all our Little Forest Folk-ers took to the skies flying personal aeroplanes all around our garden. We even prepared an inflight meal using some donated marrows. The little ones peeled, chopped and scooped out the seeds then grated them in the morning. Then in the afternoon we measured out our other ingredients for a tasty marrow fritter which we enjoyed for our afternoon snack.
On Wednesday we closed our doors for some fabulous staff training but definitely missed our Little Forest Folk-ers and loved seeing them all bounce back into the forest on Thursday ready to start work at the postal office! There was a lot of work to do from parcel size sorting to 1st and 2nd class delivery offices and of course our postal van which needed a new lick of paint. Soon our postal workers were going international as parcels were flown to recipients all over the world.
Get your rest Little Forest Folk-ers, we’ve got another busy week of work ahead of us next week!
