The beginning of the week was full of children recounting their ‘Trick or Treat’ adventures with parents and siblings, as well as stories of firework displays they visited over the weekend.

“Double, Double, Toil and Trouble…Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble” said the Witch, as she appeared in the snack circle, opening her cape to reveal someone whom the children thought looked suspiciously very much like Abbey.

The dew has made an appearance in the forest this week, turning spider webs into frost coloured pieces of art that children have been fascinated with during their morning walk to the morning snack circle.

In the small hours of an autumnal morning, some rain must have visited the forest, leaving behind clues of its presence in the form of puddles. These intrigued a group of children as they walked into the forest.

The forest this week has been greeted with chilly mornings that have suddenly bloomed into warm, sunny days at a moments notice.
