The heat this week has been the only thing everyone has been talking about, except for our children. They noticed it being hot, but unlike us, they’ve been much better at going about their usual activities without much fuss!

It has been a week of fond farewells, sad goodbyes and excitement for the future! It is the last week of regular term before the summer holiday camps, and a lot of our long-standing cohort are now moving onto 'big' school life.

This week has been Stay and Play week, and once again it has been a wonderful occasion for the parents to be involved with their children's play within the forest environment. The children have revelled in showing others what they do and what they can achieve when set a challenge.

We’ve had such a lovely week in the sun and had lots of interesting activities for the children to take part in.

This week stories have been a major theme in the forest. The children always enjoy having a story read to them, and the stories Miranda told us during snack and lunch, on the bus or during adventure walks were in high demand all week.
