Well, this weekend was the long awaited Nursery World Awards! It was a fabulous event and we were delighted to be recognised in such a large industry such as the early years to be one of the industry leaders.

Both our new and more experienced Little Forest Folk have approached this week with a sense of exploration and discovery; investigating all the nooks and crannies of the site and trying their hand at a whole array of different activities.
Last week, we watched in wonder as our children immersed themselves and the forest into the joy of mark making. This continued this week and a group of children eagerly helped Xiao make some paints.
It has been a beautiful week in the forest, with friendships strengthening and the newer children building their relationship with their new environment.
It's been a very exciting week at Barnes as we have now moved to our Putney Heath site and welcomed lots of new friends to our Little Forest Folk family.

September has arrived and with it came ‘first days in the forest’ for lots of children this week. We have had the fortune of being able to watch children’s explorations and interests, and what has been noteworthy this week is the love for mark making
This week has been very busy for the Chiswick team settling all of our lovely new families into the forest! It has been so exciting meeting all of the new children and parents and introducing them to our forest nursery.
This week we said hello to some new faces in the forest as children started their settling in. Some of the children about to start their exciting journey at Little forest folk have been settling in with their families.
Along with a continued interest in make believe cooking in our mud kitchen, the children have been showing an increasing interest in our forest aviary friends.
A short week and an emotional week! The children heading off to school have had their last plays in the forest this week and it is with both sadness and excitement that we say goodbye to our special friends. Keep in touch!
This week in the forest the children have enjoyed the wonderful late summer sunshine to the fullest. They have worked together on some fantastic projects showing amazing collaboration and communication skills as they negotiated and shared their ideas.
What a start to the week we had with the heavens opening up and unleashing a serious downpour of rain! The children soon churned up the mud and became mud monsters as they slid down the muddy slide we had made.
Our beautiful Twickenham site, having felt lonely since April, was brought to life this week with the first group of full day children who arrived with their playful curiosity at the ready!
