Wowsers! What a scorcher this week! We adapted our set ups to inspire and encourage the children’s interest in the shadier spots of our forest wherever possible with paints and drawing, construction and balancing games.

This week has been such a mixture with the children swapping between hot sunny days and absolute downpours to fill up all the puddles and soften the mud in our kitchens.

his week, our younger Little Forest Folk-ers have been collaborating to create pirate ships to climb aboard “Quick! Quick! You’re in the water! Grab on!”
