Our Week in the Forest
Another glorious week in the forest at Little Forest Folk Wimbledon! The sun has been shining and it has been a hive of activity.
We have spent this week learning about Eid, going on walks to the frog pond and also visiting Fairy Land!
We had a lovely visit from one of our parents who read a story to the children about Eid. She also brought in her prayer mat for everyone to look at. The children got to try some dates as well, a delicious treat! Then we all decorated bookmarks with bright colours to take home with us.
There have been various visits to the frog pond this week too, even managing to see some frogs hopping around! Our little explorers had to spot the tadpoles and then see if they could notice the frogs in the water too.
We finished the week with a visit to Fairy Land! The fairies had taken over and made a fairy shop, an area for making fairy dust, a fairy show and we had to help decorate their house. There were chances to make fairy potions, adding fairy dust and colour to their house and garden. It was a lovely way to finish the week!
