Fulham - Tool Work, Hopscotch and The Parachute Game

We started off the week by doing some exciting tool work, making some decorations to hang up at home using the hammer and nails. The children enjoyed the experience of being able to practise using the hammer and try hammering some nails into a tree cookie. Then using some patterned string, they created their own patterns by wrapping the string around all their nails.

Pancake Day in the forest is always a treat! On Tuesday afternoon, our explorers decorated some pancakes, choosing the different toppings they would like to go on them. The best part at the end, of course, was getting to enjoy and eat them all up …...yummy!

Using some chalks this week it’s been great teaching the children some fun group games like hopscotch. Getting everyone involved too, by helping to draw and create the hopscotch board.

Another group game that our Little Forest Folk-ers really enjoyed this week was the ball and parachute game. This was to help everyone work as a team and communicate with each other and work together to keep the ball on the parachute without it falling off which was super fun!

What a great week it’s been, we hope you all have a wonderful and restful weekend!
