Our Week in the Forest
Happy Friday, everyone!
We’ve made it through another term and we’re all so excited to kick off the summer term! 🪲
This week at Little Forest Folk Morden, we started our next focus: Understanding the World, with an emphasis on exploring and responding to natural phenomena. It’s been the perfect opportunity to dive right into planting! Over the past few weeks, our little adventurers have loved this activity and were thrilled to get involved again. Our little ones carefully planted peas, beans, nasturtiums and pansies, brightening up our veggie garden in the process. 🐞
They’ve also been very focused on caring for our little bugs this week, building a massive bug hotel and going on a bug hunt armed with magnifying glasses and a bug checklist. 🪲
Mark-making has been a big highlight this week too! Our adventurers have been showing off their amazing drawings and we’re all so impressed by their progress. It’s been wonderful to see their creativity shine in the forest. 🐞
This term has been filled with growth and adventure for our Little Forest Folk-ers, we can’t wait for all the fun we have planned for the summer term and for all the friends we’ll see again next week at our holiday camps! 🪲
