Well, this weekend was the long awaited Nursery World Awards! It was a fabulous event and we were delighted to be recognised in such a large industry such as the early years to be one of the industry leaders.

Our Little Forest Folk-ers have embraced their inner creativity this week. Role-play games, song writing, art installations and some awesome dance moves have featured throughout the week.
From thunderstorms, to monsoon downpours to clear blue skies and then icy-cold morning temperatures, the children have truly experienced the elements this week!
After experiencing all the seasons in one week the children have been closely observing the changes taking place throughout the Palace Gardens during their adventure walks.
There may be a slight chill in the air as the last days of Autumn try to keep every last minute of their stage time, but the children of our forest have had stage time in abundance!
The muddy puddles have been a major source of joy this week. The wet weather left behind some wonderful mud patches all over the forest, and the mud loving forest explorers have used these daily in their play.
All of our new little adventurers experienced their first proper rain this week! This brought a whole new dimension to the forest with a wealth of new wonderful resources!
This week has been a beautiful mixture of cool mornings with long shadows meeting us at camp and gorgeously warm afternoons where our Little Forest Folk-ers can still run around in their t-shirts or jumpers.
The autumn sun has been bathing our forest in a warm glow this week, setting the perfect lighting on our children as they continue to make the beautiful Twickenham site theirs.
This week, our children who regularly come to the Common were a little surprised to see how our base camp had changed from the last time they were in it.
