Chiswick - Leaves
A lot of our children’s interests this week have been centered around leaves. We brought a rake into the forest. The children had numerous amounts of ideas of what they wanted to use the rake for. Some children tried to create a path by clearing leaves. They called this path the road and it had to be used for driving only.
Wimbledon - Bark clippings!
We have had the most unexpected fun this week playing with bark chippings! We had a huge delivery of bark chippings in on Monday so that we could cover areas that become very muddy as we prepare for winter. The children however had different ideas! Turns out bark chippings make the most fabulous resource!

Chiswick - Flying Swings
We were engrossed in heaps of physical activity this week. Over the weeks we have watched the children become more and more confident whilst playing on the swing. Initially the children started off needing help to get on and then helped one another by pushing each other to go higher. Recently, some of the children have demonstrated standing on the swing!
Wimbledon - Training week
It's been a rather unusual week for us here in the forest as our Big Forest Folk have been out on some in-house training. It's great for us to get together with the Chiswick team and share practice and ideas. We have all been very inspired by what we've learnt and certainly feel that all of your children will benefit from this!
