What a super busy and fun week we have had! We loved having the holiday camp children here, especially seeing lots of familiar faces and old friends. For some returning from starting school in September it was as if they’d never left! 

We have continued to enjoy all the wonders of the autumn season this week! With more leaves falling every day it has been a joy to watch the children get creative with this wonderful resource! We have seen fallen leaves used as ingredients to add to mud kitchen creations...

What a gorgeous, crisp autumn week it’s been. We have loved noticing all the changes in the forest environment and have shared many conversations about why the leaves are changing colour and why they are falling from the trees. 

What a beautiful autumnal week it’s been! As the weather begins to turn a bit chilly our children have barely noticed, as they have kept so busy! We started the week with an exciting den building activity

We have had the most unexpected fun this week playing with bark chippings! We had a huge delivery of bark chippings in on Monday so that we could cover areas that become very muddy as we prepare for winter. The children however had different ideas! Turns out bark chippings make the most fabulous resource!
