Frogs croak, rain soak.
Chicks peep, crickets leap.
Bees hum, robin come.
Birds sing. It’s spring!

The forest is well and truly bursting with life now that Spring has planted its feet firmly on the ground.

The children have been fascinated by ropes this week, using them to fasten, pull and hoist. One popular use for the ropes was making assault courses!

Over the past couple of weeks while the children have been busy using tools in the forest, one of the fantastic new resources that they created was a rope ladder.

With each week that passes, the sun is becoming a more frequent visitor for all of us in the forest.

As educator’s at Little Forest Folk Chiswick, we feel incredibly lucky to have the privilege of spending our days admiring and developing our children’s character, curiosity, candour and courage.

With spring comes a fresh sense of wonder and growth. Following last week’s whimsical welcome to the spring season, the forest has continued to entice and excite all of us at Little Forest Folk Chiswick.
