There have been a number of main activities that the children have enjoyed taking part in and returning to throughout this week. Literacy and mark making have been particularly big parts of the week with story scribing being especially popular.

It has been a lovely stay and play week and a delight to have Mum's and Dad's, Grannies and Grandpas join us in the forest! The children have loved the opportunity to show parents around the forest and introduce them to all of their favourite activities.

The introduction of our new fleece lined waterproofs is as good as a sign as any that the weather is changing. Despite that, the children have been as enthusiastic and energetic as ever. 
 

The combination of mild autumnal weather and rainfall has provided our Little Forest Folk with the perfect conditions to stock up their mud kitchen with ingredients and allowed us to unearth the fascinating world below our feet.
