Move over, Vincent Van Gogh! The children of Fishpond Woods are preparing to steal your crown! This week in the forest we saw an increased interest in using paints in lots of very creative ways.

With the wind blowing wildly all about us, and the rain coming and going with the sunshine, this week has seen the little forest folk bravely conquer the elements as great explorers.

This week has seen a renewed interest in building challenging obstacle courses for balancing along. One of the reasons we love to encourage the children to take on these projects is because we see how much value they get in collaborating with each other in order to build their course.

It was great to see everyone back after Christmas holidays and we have really enjoyed talking with the children about the special times they shared with their families during the winter break.
