Well, this weekend was the long awaited Nursery World Awards! It was a fabulous event and we were delighted to be recognised in such a large industry such as the early years to be one of the industry leaders.

What a week we have had in the forest. The children have continued to welcome new faces and have been keen to show them all their favourite places to play in our two settings.

With the end of the school term comes the start of our Summer holidays in the forest where we have been welcoming many new children, and of course some of our regular Little Forest Folk-ers!

After the excitement of being on Sunday Morning Live at the weekend and having all of the lovely parents staying for stay and play week, it has been an adventurous yet extremely peaceful week in the forest!
The walled gardens of Fulham Palace have been a hive of activity recently so the children have been observing and interacting with the constantly evolving environment with its endless rows of colourful flowers, beanstalks that grow by the day and bees that fill the fragrant air.
This week we had a very exciting visit from the Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Colonel Jane Davis OBE QVRM TD DL, to present the Queen’s Award to James and Leanna!
