The children spent loads of time one afternoon creating clay creatures! There were lots of animals made, like penguins and ducks, and the children would use chips of wood from the ground to act as the beak.

We had a lovely party in the forest this week! Otis is a skilled balloon animal maker, and was making dogs, mice, and pirate swords! We really loved creative play with our balloons, sailing on our pirate ship, walking our doggies in the park, and wearing our stylish new hats!

We have a huge love for transport-based play in our Morden forest! A small group of children sat down with practitioner Teo and a pen and paper, to plan out a design for a train, counting how many wheels we’d need, how many carriages, and other things that we’d need, like “an engine” and “big windows” and “a driver!”.
