Our Week in the Forest
This week of holiday camp has been so fun! Everyone was buzzing with excitement after their Easter Holiday weekend and we kicked the week off with adventure walks up to Cannon Hill Common where we played parachute games, smelled tulips and visited 5 new little ducklings in the pond! After all that adventure everyone cooled down with some waterplay under the hose and ran and splashed under misty rainbows together.
We also had a great day on site with a Where the Wild Things Are literacy set up. The children made their own Max crowns and cooked him some playdough dinner before having their own wild rumpus! The day was also filled with tree climbing, rocket building, pirateering, big swinging and rides around the car park in our wagon which the children decided was their bus. Each day we also took time to check on and water the children’s flower and vegetable seedlings reading for planting in their vegetable garden.
