Chiswick - Ice Lollies and Juicy Melons!

What a fantastic week we have had enjoying the beautiful summer sunshine while making the most of our outdoor learning environment. The children embraced the warm weather with lots of exciting activities designed to keep them cool, active and happy.

One of the highlights of the week was our water play. The children had great fun splashing in the paddling pool, filling and pouring with jugs, and playing imaginatively with water toys, including little ships. There were plenty of smiles as everyone took turns using the water guns to cool each other down and enjoyed the slippery slide, which became even more exciting with a splash of water!

When it was time for a quieter moment, the children relaxed in the hammock, shared stories together while reading books in the shade, and enjoyed spending time with friends in our peaceful outdoor spaces. To help everyone stay refreshed, we had plenty of ice-cold drinking water available throughout the day, along with cool cucumber slices to enjoy.

A special summer treat came in the form of delicious ice lollies and juicy melon , which the children thoroughly enjoyed. These refreshing snacks were the perfect way to cool down after an energetic morning of outdoor play.

Alongside all the summer fun, the children continued making their colourful bead keychains. They showed wonderful concentration and creativity as they carefully threaded the beads to create unique designs, and they were incredibly proud of their finished creations.

It has been a joy to see the children laughing, exploring and supporting one another throughout the week. Whether they were splashing in the water, relaxing with a book or creating something special to take home, they made the most of every moment while learning through play in our forest environment.

We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the sunshine safely. Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
