Morden - What a bright and beautiful week it’s been! ☀️

With the sun shining down through the trees, our little explorers fully embraced every moment outdoors.

This week, our adventurers had a fantastic time stepping into the shoes of their favourite characters during our imaginative role play sessions. From superheroes and animals to book characters and princesses, the forest was alive with storytelling and laughter. ✨

With Father’s Day just around the corner, our little ones poured their hearts into creating glittery, sparkly cards to take home. We talked about the special people in our lives and the children used their fine motor skills to connect the dots and decorate cards full of colour and care. 💙

Our creative corner was buzzing with excitement as the children made their very own alphabet stickers. This playful, hands-on activity supported early literacy skills, with children recognising and naming letters and even beginning to form simple words.🔡

The little ones brought in some of their favourite books from home, and we gathered under the trees to read together. These moments were magical – the children were excited to share their books, listen to stories and talk about their favourite parts. 📚🌳

One of the week's highlights was exploring the fascinating world of oobleck! This curious mixture of cornflour and water gave the children a wonderfully messy, sensory-rich experience. They were amazed by how it behaved – not quite a solid, not quite a liquid. It sparked questions, predictions, and giggles and provided the perfect opportunity for scientific exploration and hands-on learning. 🌈

It’s been a joy to see their confidence grow and their imaginations flourish in such a natural and inspiring setting.

With muddy boots and happy hearts, we can’t wait to see what adventures next week brings!
