Another warm week completed in our Morden forest! ☀️
Throughout this week we have carried on our focus of expressive art and design, taking part in many activities and set ups that helped our little ones develop in this area. Also with the super warm weather we have been doing our best to stay as cool as possible.
For one of our activities we got to paint our educators. Using multi coloured face paints, our little ones painted all the educators as rainbows. This was such an exciting and fun experience for our friends as they got to paint on different canvases but also be as creative and messy as they wanted to. ☀️
One thing our little explorers are set for in the future is knowing their karaoke songs! We have had a karaoke party every afternoon this week and we loved every minute of it. From the soundtracks of The Greatest Showman, to Wicked to K-Pop Demon Hunters our little popstars performed with their whole hearts.
A highlight from our week was our adventure walk to our local garden centre! A group gathered their hats and water bottles and set off to visit the fishes there! ☀️
We have seen so many ladybugs roaming around our forest recently & so we decided to make our very own ladybug hotels. The children used the secateurs to cut up some sticks before bunching them all together and then fitting them into recycled toilet rolls. For the final touch they tied some twine and then hung them up and around our forest.
