What a wonderful week we’ve had at Little Forest Folk Morden!
To begin the week, we celebrated Shark & Orca Day with an exciting under the sea themed setup. Our little learners got creative by making beautiful jellyfish using paper plates and tissue paper, before transforming old CDs into shimmering fish with colourful sequins. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore creativity while talking about the amazing creatures that live beneath the waves.
We also celebrated Snake Day with a reptile themed adventure! One of our educators created a giant snake for everyone to decorate. Using their hands, the children dipped into paint and smeared bright colours all over the snake, creating a collaborative piece of artwork while enjoying lots of sensory play.
Our friends also headed out on a big adventure walk! After making sure we all had our hats, water bottles and sun cream, we walked to our local common to visit our duck friends. We finished our outing with energetic games of Duck, Duck, Goose and Ring a Ring o’ Roses, which brought lots of laughter and smiles.
Today, we wrapped up our week by celebrating some of our wonderful explorers at their Graduation, as they get ready for their next exciting adventure - big school! We are so proud of every one of them and loved celebrating all they have achieved.
We hope you all have a wonderful, sunny weekend, and we’ll see our full day children and holiday campers next week!
