Writing this newsletter feels like the end of a journey at Little Forest Folk for a lot of you, this is a sad but exciting moment as you are now all off to big school. It seems like yesterday that we picked up your very small children from the car park and the team here at Wimbledon Village have witnessed them grow in confidence and become the big boys and girls they are today, ready for the big adventure of school.
This week lots of activities have been set up to help with this transition. The building bridge to school has been popular and the children have even role played dropping and picking each other off at school.
We have had some new children settle this week too and our Little Forest Folk-ers have enjoyed showing the newbies where everything needs to go!
Last but not least we have enjoyed some creative tool work this week to make our own medals. We carefully used the drill to make a hole to pass our string through and then we had the opportunity to let our creative juices flow and paint them in our favourite colours.
What a lovely week we have had! We say goodbye and good luck to those who are leaving and give a warm welcome to those who have joined us!
