Yet again a week speeds past with lots of Little Forest Folk fun!
Temperatures have dropped down to more summer levels which has given everyone a very welcome breather. (A pinch of disappointment for the children as they keep asking “where did the ice cream go?”).
This week has seen some happy celebrations as one of our little explorers had a birthday and brought in some gifts for their friends, however we shared some sadness too as we have also said goodbye to one child and wished them all the best in their new adventures. To help us celebrate, an activity was set up where the children decorated their own leaver’s shirts.
This week's group times have focused on transitions and we have talked about how to get ready for school. Some of the children have spoken about the classes they will be in and what their teachers are called, some have even shown us their new school uniforms. Good luck to everyone leaving us this week and all the best from the Little Forest Folk team!
