With the forest as warm as ever we have been exploring lots of different ways to keep us cool which to the children’s delight has meant more ice lollies and water play!
In the forest, with it being so warm, running games and adventure walks have been kept to a minimum to keep us all cool and happy. This has given us lots of opportunities for drawing and art creations.
This week also saw us set off on an adventure to feed the ducks, however we soon discovered that they are very clever and had found somewhere cool to hide so we fed the crows instead!
In the forest around us Sparkles, the camp's friendly squirrel, is very keen to clean up after snack time and the children find this very amusing. We’ve also enjoyed looking out onto the larger areas around us as the rangers have been very busy with big machines fixing the damage caused by the recent heavy rain.
This week we sadly say good bye to Shahana. We wish her all the best in her new house and all the joy that her wedding will bring her. To celebrate this the children have thrown a tea party for her on her last day!
