Another bank holiday week, so the action all started at Wimbledon Common. The weather has been generous and the children happy. In the arts section, the children have been experimenting with a profusion of shapes that the hole punches can make in fallen leaves. Wands, ladybirds and dreamcatchers being but a few of the delightful things that our Little Forest Folk-ers have been making.

Starting at the common this week, the children have enjoyed all of their favourite activities. We have had many stories to go with our morning snack, with some improvised tales from our educators such as 'Wizard the Lizard' and 'How the snails got their shells.'

In the evergreen lushness of Paradise, the children grinned and giggled from morning till afternoon. Under the luscious canopy of leafy branches, children worked terrifically as a team fashioning oaken necklaces and bracelets.
