We are enjoying the crisp winter mornings in the forest and we were thrilled to find imprints of leaves on ice disks around camp. We have loved seeing the puffs of hot air coming out of our mouths as we breathe out like dragons, and hearing the crunch, crunch of leaves as we run across the meadow.

We returned to the forest feeling refreshed and excited for the new year after a restful holiday with our families. We exchanged wonderful stories of what we did over the holidays and how much fun we had spending time with our friends and families.

It's our last day in the forest for 2023 and we are very excited to spend the festive season with our families. But before we do, we fondly think about our year in the forest and all the changes that happened in the past months.
