Wimbledon - Fun in the leaves
Grab your hats and coats, the cold weather has arrived! After a deceptively balmy Monday to mark the end of October, November has swept into the forest with an icy blast. Chiswick - Leaves
A lot of our children’s interests this week have been centered around leaves. We brought a rake into the forest. The children had numerous amounts of ideas of what they wanted to use the rake for. Some children tried to create a path by clearing leaves. They called this path the road and it had to be used for driving only.
Wimbledon - Bark clippings!
We have had the most unexpected fun this week playing with bark chippings! We had a huge delivery of bark chippings in on Monday so that we could cover areas that become very muddy as we prepare for winter. The children however had different ideas! Turns out bark chippings make the most fabulous resource!
