This week, Jemima (our very own talented ceramicist) has supported children in experimenting with clay. Here, tools and objects were used to mark, poke, dig and score, whilst moulding techniques were demonstrated to form useful shapes.

Although life in forest has been somewhat still and dormant this week with a sparkling blanket of frost decorating the ground, we certainly haven’t been!

The festive celebrations have certainly continued this week, Santa's sleigh landed on the bowling green early Monday morning and the children enjoyed engaging in lots of festive role play, flying over chimney tops and gathering ‘presents’ from the field to pack the sacks with.
