We ended last week with some creepy crawly cooking! The children enjoyed using fruit and vegetables to create different insects, cutting them up and layering them on top of a cucumber stick, sticking them down with some sticky honey.

For the celebrations of the Chinese New Year, we listened to the traditional Chinese story called the Great Race. We created Chinese fans using watercolours, paper plates and wooden sticks. More learning to be had about the Chinese New Year followed into the week as we shared the story about the jade emperor and his race with all the animals.
