This week has been a whirlwind of multicultural festivities, fostering a spirit of unity and appreciation for the diverse traditions that make up this December period.

The air feels crisp and chilly while the bare Plane tree watches the children enjoy its colourful leaves that have fallen all over the meadow. Everyone is feeling the excitement as we countdown to the holidays. We enjoy looking for our friend from Santa’s workshop, Ruby, who watches with a big grin as we scour the bushes and peer up at branches to find where she is hiding.

What a chilly start to December in the forest, with the winter breeze greeting our faces and making our Little Forest Folk-ers' cheeks pink and rosy in the cold winter air. This week in the forest, we wore our mathematical hats to observe the forest in a different way. We looked around the forest to spot different shapes and patterns. We also put our counting skills to the test. First, we explored sizes by searching the forest floor for the biggest and smallest leaves.
