This week, we’ve been soaking up the crisp winter sunshine in our beautiful forest, making the most of the fresh air and blue skies.

What a wonderful week we have had in the forest! Despite the rain showers greeting us at the start of the week, our adventurous spirits remained undampened. Rainy days bring a special kind of magic to our woodland home, and the children embraced every moment, splashing in puddles, investigating the flow of water, and discovering the endless possibilities of water play.

We have spent the month of January exploring the different senses, and this week we delved into the world of smells! Spicy, fruity, woody, fresh - we have smelt it all in a range of activities that got the children to consider how this sense helps to shape our experience.
