Our Week in the Forest
This week we have had an absolute blast and we certainly have not let the rain or changing weather stop our fun! We started the week with loads of pretend play. We built our own PAW patroller car for the children to play on and they loved pretending to be their favoured pups - it has been wonderful seeing how Halloween has inspired their play and their imaginations!
Everyone has been wrapped up like a mummy and extra toasty in their layers! We’ve had loads of fun splashing in puddles and playing in the autumnal leaves noticing all of the colours around us changing.
As it’s been holiday camp this week we have said hello to some new friends and also welcomed back some old ones! It has been so wonderful seeing how everyone has been getting on.
Another one of our favourite activities from the week has been building our spider web! With string wound around the trees, we could add our favourite treasures that we've found in our play space to save for the spider who lives there. This activity then naturally developed into finding the paints to give our web some colour, using their fine motor skills and a creative eye!
