Morden - Holiday Camp Fun ✨

Oh what a wonderful holiday camp week we have had at Little Forest Folk Morden! It has been wonderful seeing some familiar faces back in blue hi-vis and welcoming some new ones too.

Our week started off rainy but this only added to our fun! We made use of our big swing & the sounds of the birds singing along with the rain falling created a lovely atmosphere for all our adventurers. ✨

To follow on from our intent of “ expressive art and design”, our little ones used their amazing creative skills and put together a large-scale nature collage. They used natural resources which had fallen from the trees and other things found around the forest. One of our little ones drew a sun to finish off their creation too.

The gardening at Little Forest Folk Morden hasn’t stopped, and this week we noticed the strawberries from the strawberry planter have started to turn red! 🍓 This encouraged us to start on our other planter, getting it ready with new soil to plant lots of different veggies.

To add to the planting fun, our little gardeners got started on planting carrots in their patch they all made a couple weeks ago.

Our week ended with some multi coloured chia seed ice cream which went down a treat & a very welcomed visit from a hedgehog 🦔.

This week has been lovely & we are excited to welcome back our sessional children next week and hear all about their half term adventures! ✨
