Welcome to Little Forest Folk – fully outdoor forest nurseries that immerse two to five-year-olds in nature, helping them become creative, resilient little learners.
Our nurseries are situated in magical sites where children’s imaginations are free to run wild. We follow the core Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and incorporate learning in a safe and secure outdoor environment, where free play, fresh air, exposure to the natural world and physical activity are an integral part of learning.
Little Forest Folk is a social enterprise and we invest a share of our profits to provide full-time free places beyond the government allowance to eligible children. For more information about our social mission and to see if you are eligible for a free place please contact us.
Five officially outstanding nurseries!
We are astonished, delighted, proud and astounded to report that we are now the proud leaders of FIVE Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ nurseries.
During April 2019 our final two nurseries awaiting inspection were inspected and both Barnes and Wandsworth nurseries were assessed to be Outstanding.

And then there were six!
Little Forest Folk Twickenham!
We are delighted to announce that in 2019 we have opened our sixth Little Forest Folk nursery at Heatham House in Twickenham!
Explore beautiful woodland areas in Chiswick House & Gardens and Kew Gardens at our Chiswick nursery.
Our Twickenham outdoor space is approximately half an acre and consists of a variety of vegetations at Heatham House.
Our days at Little Forest Folk Wandsworth are spent at two magical outdoor sites at Paradise Urban Farm and Wimbledon common.
