Workplace Benefit Scheme

We have recently started to work with the company 'Enjoy Benefits', who offer a workplace nursery benefit, which is designed to help you save more money on your annual nursery costs.

If you are employed by a company or are an employee of your own business, then you could be significantly better off by using workplace nursery benefit to pay your nursery fees. Little Forest Folk are now working with Enjoy Benefits to offer this to families.

More tax efficient than childcare vouchers (which is now closed to new parents) and Tax Free Childcare (TFC) you could save thousands of pounds each year. As an example, if you were paying nursery fees of £12,000 annually, you would save £933 a year by using childcare vouchers and £2000 maximum with TFC.

With the workplace nursery benefit, you would save £3028 a year, as you cut out tax and NI payments on ALL of your nursery fees with no cap. Please see example in the table below.

Enjoy Benefits doesn’t just work for parents - the partnership means your employer makes a contribution to the nursery to be used for its running and upkeep, which they recoup through reduced National Insurance payments.

For every child that is signed up to the scheme, Little Forest Folk will receive a payment of up to £100 per month. The way these funds are designated will be discussed with the individual family. Some of our current set-ups on the scheme use 50% toward resources for the child and 50% towards staff retention - the latter being an area which we have been discussing with parents as working towards improving.

So you benefit, your nursery benefits and it costs your employer nothing!
