Love is in the air and the forest is beginning to wake up from its long sleep. The forest floor is covered in carpets of flowers. Delicate bells of snowdrops droop shyly among the bold purple colours of crocuses. The daffodils are in bud and so are the trees which is a sign that spring is on its way.

Our Little Forest Folk-ers have been focusing on our emotions this week - we have had some lovely activities themed around recognising emotions and emotional regulation. The children loved jumping into an activity where they could play with different features on a paper face, they would talk about how they thought the face was feeling, and how they could feel better to bring their smile back!

We kicked off the week on a high note, quite literally, as Storm Isha kept us indoors for some lively activities. Our little ones had a blast at the playdough party, grooving to "I like to pat it, pat it" and "I like to roll it, roll it," showcasing their culinary skills, and indulging in some dance and yoga sessions.
