Hello, wonderful forest families! As we bid adieu to the last week before our winter break, our enchanted woodland has been a hub of joy, creativity, and even a splash of weather-inspired adventure.
Puddle Jumping Extravaganza!
High winds and torrential rain turned our forest into a watery wonderland! Undeterred, our little adventurers embraced the puddles, showcasing their water-skiing skills across the swamped cricket pitch. Rain or shine, the forest magic never stops!
Dancing into Festive Cheer!
Every day kicked off with festive melodies and songs, setting the tone for a day filled with holiday cheer. Card making for our loved ones, collages, fancy dress, and dancing sessions brought the spirit of the season alive in the heart of the forest.
Snowball Target Practice and Snowman Magic! ☃
Our little marksmen honed their gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination through target practice with pretend snowballs (sticks). Aiming and firing through hanging tinsel-adorned hula hoops. Snowmen also graced the forest, created with painted sticks which had been decorated with classic snowman features. A winter wonderland in the heart of the woods!
Festive Dinner Party at the Mud Kitchen!
Teacups filled with mud kitchen water became vessels for warmth as our forest friends gathered for a cosy dinner party. Imaginations soared as everyone ensured their friends had a nice ‘hot drink’ to keep the chill at bay.
