Wandsworth - Arms Raised and Frightening Roars!

We have been delighted to have had another joyous week at Wimbledon Common. The children have been so amiable with one another, with lots of group games and fun across the days.

They have loved playing 'Monsters' with one another, chasing both educators and other children around, arms raised and frightening roars. Our Little Forest Folk-ers ran in all directions to hide as they giggled at the game.

We have had copious amounts of face painting (and hands too!). The children who wanted them sat with the utmost patience as they took it in turns to sit as still as statues and have butterflies, cats and dinosaurs brushed onto their beaming faces. They were very considerate about what colours they wanted to choose and spoke with the kindest manners when their painting was complete.

It was also another week of parachuting! Everyone had a wonderful time making them and then our little adventurers showed enormous glee running around the forest with them, dropping them on the floor and using them in their role-plays.

We also had some great fun with our bean bags, the children lined up and took turns throwing them as far as they felt they could (which turned out to be quite far... There are definitely some Olympians amongst them!) The afternoon flew by as they launched, caught and aimed their bags in all sorts of games. We are very glad to have helped facilitate another happy and successful week for our little explorers children.

We look forward, as ever, to seeing them next week when we will make sure that they continue to feel content and merry. Have a great weekend, everyone!
