Wimbledon - Little Forest Folk Vets!

We have had a busy week in Wimbledon this week!

We started the week off with vet roleplay - the forest was equipped with x-rays, beds, bandages and medical equipment. Our little explorers also enjoyed drawing their own x-rays, as well as identifying injuries with our toy animals. Everyone had such a wonderful time, that we continued the theme throughout the week and the children enjoyed a doctor’s surgery too. Our little doctors were equipped with a x-rays, computers and patient beds, alongside clipboards and pens. Everyone had the chance to make sure that the educators’ temperatures were okay before seeing it was green and they were free to go.

We also finished our bird feeders. We mixed vegetable suet, water and bird seeds. The children mixed this together in a cup before applying it to the logs. Our little adventurers carefully placed the mixture in the holes that we previously made using a palm drill, before finding the perfect place for the logs to sit. Delorous, our white pigeon, loved eating her lunch! The children enjoyed quietly watching from a distance to ensure that she was not scared.

What an amazing week in Wimbledon!
