Wimbledon - Superheroes and Pirates!

We’ve all been enjoying using our imaginations this week at Wimbledon, with lots of roleplaying of pirates and superheroes. Our trees have become pirate and superhero boats and ropes have helped us to cross the ocean. Our pallets have helped us to look out for baddies at sea and the ropes and flag have been on hand to guide us away. We’ve had a wonderful time using our superhero masks to get into character, and some little ones have also taken the opportunity to make their own to become their own superheroes! This, along with being equipped with our own superhero name and powers, has helped us all on our missions to save the forest.

Following on from the pirate boat, we have enjoyed watching the planes leave Heathrow airport and fly over our meadow. We have been taking time to notice the logos of the airline companies that are on the bottom of the planes and had a wonderful time trying to guess where they could be going.

We have all enjoyed the beautiful weather this week in Wimbledon, whilst welcoming new and returning faces for holiday camp as well as spending quality time with our wonderful educator Lara. We have been partaking in her favourite activities within the forest as we spend our last week with her - her favourite activities are adventure walks and dancing💃. We are sure you will all join us in wishing Lara the best of luck in her upcoming adventures and we will miss her very much!
