Wimbledon - The World of Wimbledon

The world of Wimbledon has been full of bug hunts, painting and goodbyes this week!

We have spent a lot of time exploring the space around the forest and taking time to notice all of the different creatures who call the forest home. One very exciting sighting was an Elephant Hawk Moth which was found in base camp. Our little explorers sat and watched as it moved around and everyone looked in awe at the different patterns on its body. There were also some little frogs spotted on the meadow and everyone had a wonderful time watching them hop around!

Creativity has been flowing too this week with the children engaging in some amazing painting sessions. Everyone had a great time mixing their colours together to create some wonderful new shades in the pots. These were then transferred onto paper to create some wonderful masterpieces, which included everything from beaches to rainbows!

We have also said goodbye to a lot of our friends in the forest this week. It is always sad to say goodbye, but we know there will be lots of adventures waiting for them and wish them all the best for all their future escapades.
