Chiswick - Connecting with Nature!

What an exciting week it has been in the Chiswick forest! On Tuesday, we welcomed our holiday campers with open arms and big smiles. The energy and enthusiasm in the air were contagious, as new friendships were formed and old ones were rekindled. It truly was a joyous start to the week!

The creativity of our little ones knows no bounds! This week, the children took their bug hospital to new heights. They worked together, constructing and expanding the hospital, ensuring that every little critter had a cosy place to rest and recover. It was heart-warming to see their compassion and dedication towards our insect friends.

One of the highlights of the week was our sink and float activity. Our little adventurers were in awe as they explored the properties of different objects and witnessed the magic of buoyancy. Their faces lit up with amazement as they discovered which objects sank and which ones floated. It was a hands-on learning experience that sparked their curiosity and left them wanting to learn more!

To top off this adventurous week, we embarked on a thrilling nature walk. Along the way, we stumbled upon a charming birdhouse and were delighted to find some feathery friends nesting inside . The children had the opportunity to feed the birds, creating a magical moment of connection with nature. It was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

As we bid farewell to the first week of holiday camp, we can't help but feel a bubbling excitement for the week ahead. Get ready for more fun, laughter, and adventure!

We would also like to remind you that Thursday, the 18th of April, is our much-anticipated parents' evening. It's the perfect opportunity for us to share the wonderful progress your children have made in their forest school journey.

Now, let's take a moment to relax and enjoy the weekend ahead. Wishing you all a fantastic time with your loved ones! ️
