Wimbledon - Mud Kitchen Fun, Climbing and Imaginative Play!

What a week at Wimbledon!

We have had so many incredible adventures this week from tadpole spotting to creating sparks with a flint. Each day there has been something new and exciting for our children to explore and learn about. We have loved looking for all the new life in the forest, such as the tadpoles, the bluebells, and the butterflies. It’s so important for our children to learn about the new life around us and we have the chance to really get close to it in our forest.

Not only have we seen lots of new life, but we’ve also been creating a lot of new things too. We have used pallets to practice our sawing skills whilst making sure we are recycling by using pallet that have been used for things before. We have also been practising making sparks using a flint and steel. All of our children have been able to have a turn and made sparks onto the cotton wool.

There have also been lots of opportunities for mud kitchen fun, climbing and imaginative play.

Such a wonderful week!
