Chiswick - Weekly Wonders in the Winter Forest!

Dear Forest Families,

We hope this message finds you well and warm during these winter days!

🌲 Woodwork Wonder:

On Monday, our forest transformed into a workshop as our little craftspeople wielded potato peelers, turning sticks into adorable reindeers. The air filled with laughter and creativity, leaving the forest adorned with delightful wooden creations.

🎄 Waving through Woolly Forests:

The festive spirit continued as we practiced friendly waves while crafting charming Christmas trees. Using wool, sticks, and pom-poms, we added a touch of woodland magic to our sunny day, creating whimsical trees that spread joy.

👮 Role-Play Adventures:

In the afternoons, the forest became a stage for imaginative role-play. The den turned into a bustling mud kitchen, with our little ones embracing the roles of good policemen on a mission to catch the baddies. Laughter, cooperation, and creativity filled the air, turning the forest into a canvas for delightful stories.

🍄 Eco Club Mushroom Madness:

Our camp was extra muddy, perfect for jumping around and having fun! The Eco Club members had a fantastic time crafting mushroom models, a culmination of their exploration of different mushroom varieties. We also played a game with Christmas ornaments, honing our maths skills as we searched for numbered treasures hidden in the trees.

🍚 Tomten's Tales:

Every afternoon, we continued our enchanting journey with Tomten, who this time helped a hungry fox by offering a bowl of porridge – Tomten's favourite food. The forest resonated with the warmth of this winter tale.

🍪 Wooden Cookies and Forest Finds:

We engaged in a fun wooden cookie activity with numbers on one side and Christmas and forest items on the other. Placed around the forest, these cookies sparked engaging conversations about the children's homes and Christmas traditions.

Thank you for sharing another wonderful week in the forest with us! 🌳🌟
