What a wonderful week in the Forest, packed with Christmas activities and buckets full of Festive cheer🎄⛄️
This week has been Week 2 of our festive themed lead up to Christmas, with a particular focus on all things arts, crafts, song and dance. The Christmas tunes have been blasting loud whilst our little ones have been playing dance games like musical statues and using jingle bells to create festive jingles.
Our Little Forest Folk-ers got to decorate baubles and Christmas tree decorations, sticking colourful pom-poms and sequin strips to create colourfully festive creations.
We supported the children in making some amazing paper snowflakes, they cut their paper into circles, folded them and then with great skill they cut shapes into the sides. When they unfolded their paper is was amazing to see their creations!❄️
To end the week, our amazing Karlenne created a wonderful Santa’s grotto/Gingerbread house for the children to enjoy. The house was fit for some little forest elves to explore! 🍭
