Morden - Egg-cellent Activities!

Time flies when you’re having fun and we’ve been having such a blast that the end of term has come out of nowhere! This week our children have been enjoying the run up to Easter with a ton of egg-cellent activities ranging from arts and crafts, to sensory, to fine motor! First, there was painting eggs and bunny rabbits, then mixing glue and making papier mâché dinosaur eggs, and finally using their fine motor skills to carefully move some easter eggs from their nest, which was very delicate work.

Our indoor nursery space is also looking gorgeous with the addition of some beautiful crescent moons. We celebrated the third week of Ramadan by adding tissue paper mosaics to moons which were made out of repurposed cardboard. Our little adventurers also made beautiful mosaics in the shapes of eggs and hearts which everyone has been admiring.

As we come to the end of the term it’s also a good chance to reflect on the progress of our children and we are so proud of each and every one of them. Our nursery has been full of kind and gentle hands and words with our older children showing such care and warm-heartedness to our younger children. We’ve been hearing the words of our wonderful educators echoed in the forest by our little adventurers to reassure others when someone misses mummy or daddy “Don’t worry, you’ll see them soon.” It’s so lovely to know that our forest is a homely, safe space and everyone in our little community watches out for each other. Thank you Morden Little Forest Folk-ers for helping us make a home away from home!
