Putney Heath - Putney Pirates!

Another exciting week has whizzed by in our magical woodland nursery. Our forest educators have been busy fostering curiosity, creativity, and adventure in the heart of nature.

Pirate Fun Ahoy! 🏴‍☠️

Ahoy there! We set sail on a pirate-themed escapade that had our young adventurers brimming with excitement. Our little buccaneers crafted their own pirate ships and embarked on a voyage of imagination and discovery. With tea-stained treasure maps in hand, they navigated the hidden trails of the forest, deciphering clues that led them to buried "gold." Watching them collaborate and problem-solve was a treasure in itself!

Crafting Gold Coins 🪙

Armed with tools and creativity, our little learners transformed tree cookies into gleaming gold coins. Their artistic flair shone as they painted each cookie with dazzling shades of gold and silver. It's amazing to see how our forest environment sparks inspiration and helps them develop fine motor skills through tool-based activities.

Berrylicious Adventures 🍇

Our forest explorers embarked on thrilling adventure walks, venturing deeper into the woods to discover the hidden gem of the season – blackberries! With hands and origami baskets at the ready, they indulged in the joy of picking these juicy treasures. Not only did this activity awaken their senses, but it also connected them with the natural world around them and we enjoyed them as a tasty dessert!

Balancing Acts on the Slackline 🕷️

Who knew spiders could be so much fun? Our Little Forest Folk-ers took to the slackline like agile arachnids, testing their balance and coordination. With peals of laughter filling the air, they navigated this web of excitement, building both physical strength and self-confidence.

As we wrap up this vibrant week, we're thrilled by the camaraderie, learning, and laughter that echo through our forest haven. It's a joy to witness the growth of our explorers and the bonds forming between our little learners and forest educators.

Have an adventure filled weekend everyone!
