The New Year has kicked off with a burst of joy and excitement in our woodland wonderland. Though it's been a short week, it's been jam-packed with laughter, exploration, and a slime spectacular that stole the show!
Slime Spectacular Extravaganza!
Our forest adventurers harnessed their "gunge powers" in a theatrical slime creation event. In the potions section of the forest, they measured, poured, and mixed to create their very own slime masterpieces. Fine motor skills were put to the test with pipettes and funnels, transforming the forest into a gooey, glittering spectacle.
Gravity Experiments in the Tuff Trays
Water play in our tuff trays sparked a curiosity about gravity. As the water cascaded to the bottom of the tray even when rotated, discussions on gravity's force unfolded. We explored the concept, delving into why things fall and how gravitational pull differs on the moon. Objects gathered from the forest became tools for weight comparisons, leading to delightful experiments with walkie talkies, sticks, tree cookies, and fabric.
