Wandsworth - Swings & Climbing Logs!

We have been delighted to have hosted another adventurous week at our camp on the common. Our Little Forest Folk-ers have definitely enjoyed themselves and there's much to be said for the fun and games we've all had.

The most important piece of news is that we have expanded the site slightly and now have a new zone for the swing and a much better area for the children to dig in. So, they have been digging in the soil and making great mounds of dirt and once again soaring on the swing! The camp has never been better!

Our little adventurers have adored playing on the new climbing logs. They've balanced along them before skipping and jumping from base to base. It's been such a pleasure to see some start to tackle the obstacles with a hand of assistance and by the end be doing it all by themselves. They've leapt across some like frogs on lily pads. It's been a source of tremendous entertainment for all of them!

We have naturally had, as always, a lot of stories, chases and hearty laughter at meal times. Everyone has played in big groups with great care and kindness for one another. Hide and seek has been one of this week's constants. The children had flocked behind the tree when the countdown began, and it was very endearing just how conspicuous they all were. They took turns very well and some of the children even went and hid independently which was excellent to see!

We are very happy to have had a thoroughly fun week. We're certain that all of our little explorers will have had a great deal of happiness packed into their days. Until next week, have a great weekend everyone!
