Wimbledon - Weather Flurries

This week has been an array of weathers! We started the week with a day at the scout hut due to high winds where we explored the park and relished the opportunity to take the kite out! The children enjoyed seeing it fly high in the sky before the wind stopped for a few moments and the kite fell!

On Tuesday, we were greeted with hail, rain and all sorts of different weathers! Our Little Forest Folk-ers enjoyed looking for different creatures as well as different signs of nature that indicated spring is on its way! We found worms and flowers on the meadow. Our little explorers then gathered binoculars to try and spot birds flying in the sky, but we did have to overcome some challenges when it came to the big clouds overhead.

Thursday then welcomed us with some lovely sunshine. Our little adventurers enjoyed running on the meadow, climbing trees as well as ‘surfing’. We listened to songs that spoke about surfing before turning into lifeguards and making sure that the educators and their peers didn’t get too close to the waves as these could be dangerous, but they could of course surf the waves, and show off their cool moves!

What a fabulous week we’ve had, we hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
